Personal Biography

Sara Sıla Culfa graduated with high honors from the Department of Psychology at Istanbul University. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at FMV Işık University with a full merit scholarship, focusing her thesis on somatization and mentalization processes.


Alongside her academic studies, she has enriched her clinical and theoretical background through various training programs. She completed the Basic Existential Analysis Training at Existential Academy, received MMPI Practitioner Training from the Turkish Psychological Association, and earned her certification as a test administrator through projective testing training on Rorschach and TAT by the Association for Rorschach and Projective Tests.


She attended the “Introduction to Psychoanalysis” seminars organized by the Istanbul Psychoanalysis Association and the “Introduction to Psychoanalytic Psychosomatic Theory” seminars held by the Istanbul Psychoanalytic Psychosomatic Association. She completed her clinical internship at Moodist Psychiatry Hospital and also served as a volunteer psychologist at World Human Relief Association.


She continues her academic and clinical work in the field of psychosomatics and is actively engaged in individual analysis and professional supervision with an analyst who is a member of the Turkish Psychoanalytical Association. At Navia Psychology, she offers psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapy for adolescents and adults.
