Experiential Workshop – Objects Within Us: Belongings, Representations, and Our Inner World

Date & Time: April 19, 2026 / 14:00 – 16:00

Workshop Facilitator: Clinical Psychologist Sena Dönmez
Co-Facilitator: Clinical Psychologist Âmine Güzel

What Awaits You in This Workshop?

Each of us lives in a unique world woven with different objects.

The connections we form with objects in the external world are, in fact, tangible reflections of our relationships with ourselves and with the important people in our lives.

This workshop aims to explore and rediscover our inner distances, connections, sense of self, and relationships from different perspectives—through objects that serve as stations in our mental world of representations.

Who Can Participate?

This workshop is open to anyone aged 18 and above who wishes to understand their inner dynamics through objects and re-evaluate their relational patterns.

Participation Requirements

When attending the workshop, you are required to bring two items (or clear photographs of them) that match the descriptions below:

  1. How should you choose the first object?
This should be an “indispensable” item that has maintained its place in your life—something you cannot give up, or that reminds you of a particular period or person.
  2. How should you choose the second object?
This should be an item that makes you feel more competent, balanced, strong, or whole—something you see as a “source of support.”

The workshop will take place in person at Navia Psychology (Nişantaşı/Şişli). The address will be sent via email to participants who complete their registration.

  • Capacity is limited to 10 participants.
  • Participation is paid. The fee is 800 TL.
  • Those who wish to attend must fill out the registration form. After completing the form, payment details will be shared with you. Your registration will be confirmed once payment is completed.
