Navia Psychology Internship Programs
Navia Psychology offers two distinct internship programs for students and graduates in the field of mental health: the Basic Internship Program and the Clinical Internship Program.
Both programs aim to support participants in developing their professional identity, gaining experience in clinical settings, and acquiring a professional perspective grounded in ethical principles.
🔵 Clinical Internship Program
Eligibility Criteria:

Graduate students enrolled in a Clinical Psychology master’s program

Recent graduates from Clinical Psychology master’s programs
Duration:
-
Client sessions and individual supervision: 1 year
-
Group supervisions and seminars: 9 months
Program Content:

Conducting individual psychotherapy sessions with low-fee clients referred by Navia Psychology
-
Participation in weekly individual supervision sessions (cost to be covered by the participant)

Attendance at group supervisions

Participation in monthly seminars conducted by expert clinicians (9 seminars in total)
Objective:
The program is designed to help participants gain direct clinical experience, develop psychotherapy competencies under supervision, and enhance their professional practice skills within an ethical framework.
Application Requirements:

Enrollment in or recent graduation from a Clinical Psychology master’s program

Regular attendance in both individual and group supervision sessions

Active participation in seminars

Adherence to ethical principles and professional conduct expected in the field
🟢 Basic Internship Program
Eligibility Criteria:

3rd or 4th-year undergraduate students in a mental health-related field

Graduates from undergraduate programs in related fields
Note: Participants in this program will not conduct individual therapy sessions.
Duration: 6 months
Program Content:

Observational participation in group supervision sessions

Monthly seminars conducted by expert clinicians (6 seminars in total)

Taking on responsibilities related to institutional operations
Objective:
This program aims to provide participants with exposure to the clinical setting, opportunities for professional observation, and foundational knowledge of ethical principles.
Application Requirements:

Enrollment in or graduation from a relevant undergraduate program (3rd or 4th year)

Regular attendance in group and individual supervisions (as observers)

Active participation in seminars

Adherence to ethical standards and a professional attitude appropriate to the field
